Pod Casting is a great way to provide 24/7 learning oportunities for your students. Break down the classroom walls and give them access to you as a resource anytime, anywhere. Don't feel comfortable making your own? Take advantage of the millons that are out there and connect your students in a way they operate and relate.

Here are some examples of a few of my podcasts, just promise not to laugh. You don't have to be the greatest radio DJ or have a voice like Ted Williams. Just give it a try no matter how dorky and the kids will appreciate the effort...and they will listen.

One of the best sites for creation and distribution of podcasts. The player above was created using the podomatic site. They also have millions of podcasts to look through that have been user created.
Audacity is software (free download) that allows for easy recording and laying music tracks underneath your speaking or conversation. All you need is a cheap microphone and your ready to go. Audacity projects can be exported as mp3, wav, or just about any type of audio file.
